Our story
Built by people who've felt the pain firsthand
SeoSwift started with a simple frustration: why do you only find out your title tags were wiped in a CMS update after traffic has already dropped? We built the tool we always wished existed.
It started, as many good tools do, with a bad day.
Anete was auditing a client's e-commerce store — a site she'd spent months helping rank — when she noticed something was wrong. Organic traffic had quietly fallen off a cliff. A developer had pushed an update three weeks earlier that stripped canonical tags from every product page. Three weeks of Google crawling broken metadata. Three weeks of rankings sliding. And nobody had noticed.
She called Aivars, who'd spent decades building and running systems across every corner of IT — from infrastructure to product to engineering leadership. His response was immediate: "This is a monitoring problem. We can fix this."
That conversation became SeoSwift.
The team
Aivars
Co-founder & CTO
With over 25 years across IT — spanning infrastructure, software engineering, system architecture, and technology leadership — Aivars has seen just about every way a technical system can fail quietly and expensively. That experience shaped how SeoSwift is built: resilient, observable, and designed to catch problems before they become crises.
He believes good tooling should feel invisible when things are fine and unmistakably clear when they're not. SeoSwift's crawler, alerting engine, and health scoring system are all an expression of that philosophy.
When he's not thinking about systems, he's thinking about the next system. It's a personality trait, not a job description.
Anete
Co-founder & CMO
Anete has spent 10+ years in e-commerce and digital marketing, and SEO has been her constant companion throughout. She knows what it feels like to watch a carefully built organic channel erode because something changed in the HTML that nobody thought to check. She's been that person staying late trying to figure out why rankings dropped — and finding the culprit buried in a CMS update.
That frustration is why SeoSwift exists. Anete shapes every part of the product that faces real users and real SEO workflows — from how alerts are phrased to which health indicators matter most. If it feels like the tool actually understands your job, that's her influence.
She also runs dogslovegifts.com — because if you're going to obsess over SEO metadata, you might as well do it for something you love. Her site is also quietly one of SeoSwift's most actively monitored properties. She's her own best test user.
We built SeoSwift for people like Anete
Marketers and SEO professionals who care deeply about their work, manage multiple sites or clients, and can't afford to find out about metadata disasters three weeks after they happen. If that's you, you're exactly who this is for.
