Notes & Journal

Dated notes on each site, one cross-site Journal feed, and a client-ready export.

Notes on a site

Deployed a redesign? Migrated a CMS? Add a dated note to a site from its Changelog tab (the Annotations sub-tab), so that next month, when someone asks "what happened on the 14th?", the answer is already written down next to the changes it explains.

The Journal

The Journal (top navigation) gathers every note from every site into one chronological feed — the story of your whole portfolio in one scroll. It holds two kinds of entries, each clearly labelled:

  • Your notes — the dated notes described above, shown with their site and author.
  • AI narratives — when an AI summary is generated for a site's Overview, its narrative is filed into the Journal automatically, so the machine's account of a crawl sits alongside the humans'. Edit one and it keeps an "edited" marker — your words win.

Filter by site, source (human or AI), or date range. Owners and admins can add, edit, and delete any entry; members can edit only the notes they wrote themselves.

Client-ready journal export

On a site's Annotations list, select the entries worth showing and hit Export selected to get a print-ready page — branded with your agency's white-label name and logo where configured, so it can go straight into a client report as a PDF. More on branding in Client Portal & White-label.
